    • Assist group in meeting their marketing objectives by developing research strategies to better understand their viewing habits and viewer behavior
    • Provide viewership research for sales group to use in client meetings and presentations to attain revenue budgets
    • Provide Sponsorship Sales an understanding of the marketplace and potential clients, identify new sources of revenue and maintain Ad Sales client satisfaction
    • Support group in meeting the needs of network viewers through program testing and understanding viewing consumption habits across all media platforms
    • Provide digital usage and viewership research to group for programming decisions and digital product design.
    • Monitor and report on viewer’s TV viewing behavior, and satisfaction levels using a comprehensive set of primary and secondary research tools.
    • Distribute and analyze Nielsen overnight ratings for MSG Networks, and develop competitive television programming and competitive sales estimates.
    • Maintain, update and distribute viewership/usage reports for MSG Networks’ digital products
    • Prepare a variety of ad-hoc research projects
    • Assist with the planning, programming and analysis of panel surveys.
    • Pull together reports on consumers’ media habits, viewership behaviors and purchase intent for sales presentations.
    • Work independently with minimal levels of supervision; effectively manage time and variety of work responsibilities
    • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with up to 2 years of consumer or marketing research experience
    • Strong project management skills
    • Ability to establish relationships within all levels of the company
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into actionable findings and recommendations.
    • Excellent written and oral skills
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong teamwork skills.
    • Strong Powerpoint and Excel experience (knowledge of advanced excel formulas/macros preferred)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree in marketing analytics, statistics or mathematics preferred
